News from Isabel Acheson for issue of July 17, 2025

Somerset Bible Chapel

The congregation was back to home base Sunday July 13 after the church family camp-out weekend. The Music team were Jamie and Brianna Small with Kevin Friesen. Rejean Picard was on for Announcements, Abe Klassen for usher, Pastor Jeff Peacock for Prayer Focus and Jamie Small for Scripture reading.

The music included “Today is the Day”, “Only Jesus Can”, A medley of songs, “Living Hope” and “Faithful Now”.

The Scripture lesson was from Matthew 18:21-35. The unforgiving servant.

Pastor Jeff Peacock spoke on the matter of forgiveness. The lesson is part of a discussion that Jesus was having with his disciples. Peter had asked how often one should forgive a brother who had sinned against him.  Jesus’ reply was a mini sermon with this longer, detailed parable within.
